The cold breeze began rushing in, and with that whoosh of the wind, the Winter Semi-Formal rolled in as well.
The theme was “A Royal Formal.” After deciding what the theme was, the committee started planning what they’re going to wear.
“(I wore) my homecoming dress that I got for the ceremony,” senior Miley Pauly said. “I really like the color. It looked good on me, and the side train was nice.”
Some people went with a date, and others went with friends.
Many students looked forward to this event.
“(I’m excited for) the cute pictures I get to take,” sophomore Bri King said. “I have always kept the photo booth pictures and hung them on my wall.”
There were snacks, photos, music and dancing.
“We had a photo booth and another spot for pictures,” senior and Stuco president Joseph Beck said. “It’s a good opportunity for everybody to get together outside of school.”
Throughout the event, students sat and joked around, played card games, and got up to dance to both old and new songs.
“(Dancing to) ‘The YMCA’ (was my favorite thing),” sophomore Mireyah Conkle said. “(Junior) Brooke Koster was being funny.”
