Throughout the season the Cardinals fought many battles. In this picture freshman Nash Johnsen and freshman Haylee Osner shoot the ball for Cardinal points against the Kingman Eagles. “This season was a good season,” senior Zach Osner said. “I was sad to know I’ll never play again.”

On Oct. 9 and 10, girls tennis took first overall at Regionals. Junior Loren May took first in singles, while senior Molly Bender placed fourth. In doubles, partners senior Lucy Boyles and freshman Haylee Osner took first. Overall four girls competed in State, Oct. 16 and 17.

Throughout homecoming week, students participate in spirit days in many ways. The week started with Princess vs. Pirate day on Tuesday,  then Hippie day on Wednesday and Fictional Character day on Thursday, and ending with the traditional Red and White day on Friday. “I enjoyed dressing up and being stupid,” freshman Colton Wolken said. ”My favorite day was fictional character day when I got to dress up as Flash the sloth from Zootopia.”  Wolken won the “most spirited” award for the freshman class.
