Intro to Ag covered many topics, from plants, and animals, to environmental science and food science. There were many reasons for taking Intro to Ag. For some, it was for fun and learning new things. For others, it was for the opportunities it brought.
“(I’m) kind of excited for future classes like the welding and shop classes,” freshman Brody Warren said.
Advanced Ag Mechanics was a class for learning about motors and mechanics. They studied the different types of motors and how they work: for example, the difference between a two stroke and a four stroke.
“(I) like the people in my class, and then just learning about all the different things,” sophomore Mason Zoglmann said.
In Advanced Welding, students learned the different types of welding. Students made many different things, for work and personal use.
“(In) welding, you get to make some pretty cool projects,” senior Thane Herndon said. “Right now, I’m building a shelf for all the stuff I’ve got in my house. It’s also a useful skill.”
