Some participated in Fall Fest with booths, while others were in the parade. Art club had a float for the first time this year, and it won first place.
“I was so glad,” senior Amelia Meyers said. “I almost didn’t believe it. I kind of wanted to cry. I was so happy.”
The band marched in the parade, and the band and choir were the first event after the parade. Sophomore Kaelynn Downey performed in both.
“[The Cardinalaire songs] were amazing. I really loved those songs,” she said.
The dance team held the kids dance clinic, with a practice on the Wednesday and Thursday before Fall Fest and the performance at Fall Fest.
“I think they did very well,” Downey said. “Basically we just stretched, and then we taught a minute, maybe a minute and 15 second dance. And that was that.”
Other students did not partake in events but went for support and to enjoy themselves with their friends.
“We played truth or dare for a minute,” junior Aaron Doll said. “We did a lot of window shopping, and we also went to my house and played basketball.”
