Recently, Stuco put together a thank you for the cooks and custodians. This project was headed up by the teacher appreciation committee, which is made up of seniors Macie Hartman and Morgan Koester, junior Adysen Conkle, and sophomores Jade Erker and Lanie Hartman.
They made goodie bags filled with pop, candy, homemade sugar cookies and Dotz pretzels.
“I think it is important to show not only the teachers appreciation, but also the other people that help our school’s needs,” Hartman said.
Conkle said that although this was not a new project entirely since they did a teacher and staff appreciation last year, they made some changes to ensure that the gifts would be received directly.
They gave these gifts to the cooks and custodians on Sept. 9.
“Carol was very excited about the pretzels, and Donna was also excited,” Koester said. “They were all very appreciative.”
