The annual Fall Fest is an opportunity for the Conway Springs community to be involved, especially the high school. Stuco, band, cheer, dance, and other clubs will be a part of Fall Fest in many different ways.
The dance team will be having a dance clinic with the little girls and a performance of their own. Practices were held Sept. 20-21 and the performance is Saturday at 7 p.m.
“I’m excited and think it’ll be fun and also give the little girls something to look up to,” junior Brooke Beck said.
The cheer team will be walking in the parade and doing a performance as well.
“We have been working on our dance performance from home digitally with the dance from cheer camp last summer with a little more moves,” junior Lacey Kelly said. “I am excited and also a little nervous to perform the dance.”
The band will march in the parade and play a few songs in the band shell for everyone as they have every year.
“I’m playing the clarinet in the march. We’ve been practicing the music but not the marching,” junior Ali Mishler said.
Stuco will also contribute to Fall Fest with the inflatables since the carnival rides are no longer available.
“We are sponsoring the inflatables, and I am excited to look at all the venues and talk to the community people at Fall Fest,” junior Cade Howell said.
