On Oct. 1, CSHS hosted senior night against Belle Plaine and Garden Plain. The team won 2-0 against Belle Plaine and lost 0-2 against Garden Plain.
“I think I did pretty good because I stayed positive most of the time by just believing in others and in myself,” senior Bailey Kennard said.
After the game, the seniors got to be recognized.
“I felt a little emotional knowing that it was the last time playing with some of my teammates at home,” senior Ava Daniel said.
Seniors got a gift basket with goodies and personalized letters from the underclassmen. One of the items they got was an etch a sketch, to remind them to erase the mistakes from the past.
“I felt kind of sad,” Kennard said. “It hit me after that game that I would never play here again.”
