After ending the 2024 volleyball season as Sub-State Runner-ups, the volleyball team is looking to newer and bigger goals.
“(The team’s goal) is to make it to state,” freshman Faith Fisher said.
In order to reach these new goals, the team has to change some aspects from last year.
“Last year there was a lot of miscommunication, and everyone thought that we were gonna do bad, but this year we have a better mindset of going to state regardless of what people think,” sophomore Bri King said.
So far this season, the team is 5-4 after a difficult tournament at Inman.
“My favorite part of the season so far has been sweeping Independent and South Haven last Tuesday,” senior Reece Johnson said. “It made me really enjoy how much fun we had and how relaxed we were.”
