The basketball boys started off the season a little rough with three losses right off the bat, but then they came back strong with four wins in a row.
“The hardest thing that I had to work on was getting through my slump,” senior Eli Howard said. “I started off the season really bad, and it takes a lot of confidence to get out of a slump. It was pretty hard this year.”
Some team members said the team made big improvements throughout the season.
“The team’s biggest improvement was probably coming together as a whole team and not just getting scores from one person,” senior Grant Fisher said.
The team had some proud moments, with their record being one of them.
“The thing I’m most proud of is our record, because we did better than we expected,” sophomore Carson May said.
