The BPW concert was Nov. 23 at the Methodist church. The Cardinalaires performed for the Conway Springs BPW group. There was a dinner held before the concert for those who RSVP’d. Many Cardinalaires said they enjoyed their experience at the BPW concert.
“I think it went really well. People said our sound was a lot better,” sophomore Sydney Zoglmann. “It was a better turnout than last year.”
Director Stephanie Bodley got the opportunity to have piano accompanist Amy Zoglmann.
“I was glad to have her as (accompanist),” sophomore Jase Downey said. “We usually use a practice track instead of a person on the piano.”
Bodley arranged the order of the songs with choreography for the first and last songs.
“I knew everything,” Zoglmann said. “I think learning the choreography while singing made it easier to understand.”
Freshman Addy Conkle said she could have been better.
“Sylvester and I were singing each other’s parts,” she said. “We just kind of winged it, and it came together in the end.”
