Lip Sync was on Feb. 13, and the classes competed with choreographed dance routines and lip-synced songs that they picked.
“We decided the songs from the theme and what goes with the theme,” junior Lairen Pauly said. ”(We tried to make a routine that had) a lot of tricks with the boys and tried to make current funny things.”
There were a few struggles along the way, but the classes worked through them to perform the best they could on the big day.
“Getting the last part down (was kind of hard),” sophomore Zavier King said. “It was a human triangle. Getting the timing right and deciding who was on top was hard. We were just happy it worked.”
The Class of 2026 won for the third year in a row, which some said was because of their experience.
“Honestly, I don’t think it was hard to get people to cooperate,” senior Konner Bidwell said. “I think we’re just like, we’ve been doing it for four years, and it’s like, it’s not like a big deal anymore.”
