Pep Club unofficially includes all members of the high school that support the athletic activities or other extracurriculars. Officially, Pep Club is sponsored by Emma Willert with two officers: senior Macie Hartman is president and social media manager, and senior Maddy Stevens is vice president.
Pep club made an effort to include everyone in the themes so all students can support their school.
“We usually try and have unique themes, but ones that are easy so a lot of people can dress up in a wide variety of things so everyone can participate,” Stevens said.
The Pep Club board members also took weather and vibes into account when they decided themes.
“For basketball, we don’t really care about the weather,” Hartman said, “but for football and stuff like that, we did kind of think about like it could be colder or it could be warmer.”
A large number of students participated in the themes that Pep Club chose, and some said they had favorites that they loved to participate in.
“I really like neon because you get to wear the bobs, and ‘bob power’ you know,” senior Sydney Zoglmann said. “I also like ESPN because it’s fun to have the little microphones.”
