In Humanities Survey, students learned about different cultures, tried local foods, and participated in traditional activities. Some of the cultures that they learned about were Italian, Asian, and German.
“My favorite project so far was painting Venetian masks because it was interesting to learn about and to paint,” sophomore Mireyah Conkle said.
After getting an insight into a country’s culture and history, many students said that they would like to travel to one of these countries.
“I think it would be fun traveling to Japan because it looks pretty cool,” senior Bella McPhail said.
After learning about so many different cultures, some students developed a favorite part to learn about.
“The Asian culture one, learning about all of the different types of music [was my favorite],” junior Katelyn Tate said.
