Art club is a new club that was introduced into CSHS last year. There are a total of 20 students out for the club this year.
Art club is planning many of the same events that they did last year, such as Fall Fest decorations, face painting as a fundraiser, and making artwork to display at Kyle Trueblood Elementary School. Senior Tabitha Wykes is in art club for a second year.
“I’m mainly always in her class,” Wykes said. “I’m into art classes, and art is just something I love to do and express my feelings with.”
Senior Bella McPhail said she was looking forward to several activities.
“(I’m looking forward to) doing things around town, like how we painted the sign last year,” she said.
Art club painted the historical sign in front of the museum in town last year.
In addition, Art club has some new plans this year.
“(We are) doing a float for Fall Fest with the Mardi Gras theme, and doing decorations for the band shell,” sophomore Kendall Baggs said.
