At the homecoming ceremony, seniors Grant Fisher and Addie Pauly were crowned homecoming king and queen. Though former queen Melissa Ebenkamp was able to attend the ceremony, former king Nash Johnsen could not make it to the ceremony to crown Fisher due to playing in a college basketball game.
Directly following the homecoming ceremony, there was a bash in the commons to celebrate the end of homecoming week. There were board games and activities available to the students. The bash ended at 11 p.m.
“I enjoyed the bash because there were different games and stuff to do,” freshman Braxton Zoglmann said.
The bash had music available for students to dance along to and the gym was open for students to play basketball. The bash also had walking tacos for the students to enjoy.
“I played basketball and ate the walking tacos with Adysen and Bailey,” sophomore Brooke Koster said.
The bash was also a time where students could hang out with friends for a while.
“My favorite part of the bash was being able to be with my friends outside of the school day for a few hours,” sophomore Katelynn Tate said.
