CSHS had a few teachers from last year leave, and there have been a few new teachers welcomed this year, one being Emma Willert, the new FACS teacher. Willert was the replacement for Darcy Jaeger.
Lots of students get excited to get to know their new teachers, and most new teachers are excited to meet the students at the new school that they will be teaching at. Willert said she still has some nerves to overcome.
“One thing I’m nervous for is creating fun and purposeful lessons that everyone will enjoy,” she said.
Willert said she is excited about teaching her Intro to FACS class and getting to know the students.
“I really like the connections I get to make with students and the opportunity I have to impact their life,” she said.
Willert is also the sponsor for FCCLA.
“I’m excited to get more involved with the community and to take STAR events to competition,” she said.
