On April 17, 27 art students went to the Wichita Art Museum. This field trip was for all of Jennifer Potts’s art classes.
“I was excited to see new things and learn new types of art that there are and how people love to do art and the things you can learn,” sophomore Tabitha Wykes said.
The students had different favorites at the museum.
“ I liked the Abstract art pieces the best,” freshman Lucas Pauly said.
The Wichita Art Museum has many different parts to its building. Students had different interests when it comes to art and how they interpret the art.
“My first thoughts were about how hard you would be to draw each piece of artwork, and how talented you had to be to do it,” sophomore Ali Potts said. “My favorite art piece had to be the oil painting or the scenery paintings.”
