This year for winter homecoming, there were several different games that were put on by Stuco. These games consisted of castles, wall decorating, and finally, the annual CSHS lip sync challenge amongst the classes. These class competitions are meant to bring out a lot of rivalry amongst the classes, and that pushes a lot of the classes to try even harder.
“My favorite event was castles. I enjoyed it because it involves a lot of competition and gets a variety of people who play the game and just have fun during the homecoming week,” junior Cade Howell said.
All of the games required large teams, and each class had to take the time to dedicate the best-fit students for the game.
“I went out for lip sync because I felt I would bring a lot of energy to the performance,” junior Eli Howard said. “I have also been going out for lip sync since freshman year, and I have enjoyed it every year.”
The winter homecoming games can provide a good relief from the stress of school around this time of year.
“I feel that the games can relieve a lot of stress during the time between Christmas break and spring break,” junior Jan Stuhlsatz said.
