On Jan. 18, the Human Growth and Development class tested out different pregnancy cravings, which are weird food combinations that pregnant women find appetizing. The class tried ramen noodles with pickle juice, peanut butter and pickles, pretzels and ice cream, Nutella and Doritos, and pickles and ice cream.
“Nutella and Doritos were very good,” said sophomore Sydney Zoglmann. “It balanced out sweet and salty.”
Like Zoglmann, junior Bailey Kennard also had a similar take. The sweet and salty combination seemed to be a hit.
“My favorite combination was pretzels and ice cream because it was sweet and salty,” Kennard said.
The students said they were interested and wanted to try some of the food.
“They were intrigued by putting the flavors together to see what they would taste like,” FACS teacher Darcy Jaeger said. “I wanted to give them a real world experience.”
