The annual fall play this year was entitled, “The House of Thrills and Chills.” It was held on Nov 11 at 7 p.m. and Nov 12 at 4 p.m. They had a total of 10 people in the cast with an additional three other people doing special effects and acting as monsters. This year, the Intro to Theater class helped with props for the stage.
“The Intro to Theater class I’m in made some of the props on stage,” sophomore Amelia Meyers, who was also an extra, said. “I helped stain wood for the ottoman, and we also made candles and helped with costumes. I’m very proud of everything we did.”
Junior Gabe Murphy played Quinn and said that he believes their first performance went smoother than the second.
“[I think] there were less mess ups on the first night, and the only one I remember was me forgetting a line,” Murphy said.
The play used different sound effects and other comedic elements.
“I thought it went really well. All the different elements like the physical comedy, lighting, and sound effects came together really well,” drama sponsor Tamara Salisbury said, “I thought it looked like the kids had fun with it and that in turn made the performance look that much better.”
