As per tradition during the homecoming week Feb. 6-10, STUCO came up with spirit week ideas for students to participate in. Monday was “Under the Sea,” Tuesday was “Hobo vs. High Class,” Wednesday was “Sweating to the 80s,” Thursday was “Anything but a Backpack,” and Friday was the traditional “Red and White.” STUCO also hosted a lip sync competition on the day of homecoming, won by the juniors. “[Lip sync] practices started rough, but the boys really pulled together,” junior Jewelianne Allmond said. “I am really proud of everyone, and I believe we deserved our win.”
