The mattress fundraiser was a small fundraiser for 6-12 grade band and choir students held on Oct. 2 to raise money for their 2026 trip to Florida by selling sheets, pillows, and mattresses.

The students said they had fun helping the fundraiser, by standing outside and advertising.

“Advertising was fun,” said sophomore James Hancock. “I hung out with Konner [Bidwell].”

The fundraiser sold 26 mattresses this year.

“The mattress fundraiser went really well,” music teacher Stephanie Bodley said. “Other schools sold an average of 8-12 mattresses.,”
