Not all pencils are created equal

I will preface this by saying that I mean no disrespect to any pencil brands I talk about in this story.
I have always had issues with pencils anyone has bought me for school, or when I won things in elementary school. I have always been invested in pencil brands. Sometimes thinking about how I could make them better or pencils I could mix together to make the ultimate pencil. However, I do have some bones to pick with certain pencils and pencil brands and how they choose to make their pencils.
At the lowest, we have trash pencils. These pencils are the freebies colleges and offices give out for advertisements. These pencils constantly break, have erasers that leave skid marks, and don’t sharpen due to the outside film with advertisements on them. I dislike how every second of every day you have to sharpen these pencils because they get dull so easily. They also break very often to the point of no return. The film also makes sharpening these pencils very difficult due to the film being made of plastic. (#savetheturtles)
Going on to the terrible mid pencils (such as America’s Pencil and OfficeWorks brands). These pencils are very irritating because these pencils have horrid erasers. These erasers don’t erase and it’s like you’re writing with a pen. They’re genuinely horrible, but I would rather use them over the trash pencils any day. Most of these pencils have only one thing wrong with them.
Finally my all time favorite, wooden pencil: Dixon Ticonderoga pencils. This pencil erases easily, never breaks, lasts forever, and is super satisfying to sharpen. I have always loved them. They are the best wooden pencils in the world, and I couldn’t have survived middle school without one of these bad boys at my side.
