The Halloween festivities kicked off with costume and pumpkin carving/painting contests for both students and faculty. In the past, only faculty members were able to enter the pumpkin carving/painting contest, and only three students took the opportunity to participate. “[There was a] lack of participation of the students and teachers,” senior Michayla Buck said. “I did enjoy seeing all of the people that actually participated.” Students from Kyle Trueblood Elementary also paraded through the high school in their costumes.
