The annual Fall Fest will be held on Sept. 28. It will be held at Conway Springs city park with a parade, floats, and booths. The theme for this year’s theme is Disney. With all these activities students they have the opportunity to participate in the parade, riding floats, running booths, and so much more.

There are several booths during the afternoon on Fall Fest. Like a face painting booth ran by Junior Sadie Schmanke. With the money she earns, Schmanke will be giving to the local food bank.

“The booth will be a little more challenging without my sister, but we are getting more people to help out this year,” Junior Sadie Schmanke said.

This year’s parade will start at 11am. Playing in the parade is the middle school and high school band. The high school band starts the performances at 12:10pm. Next will be a performance by the high school choir at 12:50pm. Then some performances by the Conway Springs High School cheer team and dance team with the little girls’ dance clinic.

“I enjoy being around all the people and performing with the little kids,” senior Amy Zoglmann said.

Along with all of these events and more there will be inflatable bounce houses for the little kids also from 12 to 6pm. All these fun activities lead many students looking forward to Fall Fest.

“Fall Fest is one of the most eventful time of the year, along with homecoming,” Senior Madison Pauly said. Fall Fest is an eventful time of each year in Conway Springs.
