During one lunch period once or twice a month, students get the opportunity to talk to people in the military. This is an opportunity to see if this career is something students would want to pursue in the future.

“I think it’s a good opportunity for kids to ask questions on a one-on-one basis, so they can get more personalized attention,” counselor Kristy Martin said.

Students can ask any questions they need to see what it takes to be a part of the military. Students can take pamphlets of information and different merchandise for free.

“You can look at all your options,” Martin said. ”There may be something about an organization that you liked and that you didn’t like. “You can just keep your options open.”
